It is presumed the Librarian was employed as one of the multiple librarians of Wolf Hall. He showsEvangeline the location of the Valory Arch without her realizing, tempting her to a door at the back of the library that he claims holds books with information about the Valors.
Appearance[]
The Librarian is a minor character, having only small appearances in Once Upon A Broken Heart and The Ballad of Never After. He is described as being as small as a child with a long, silver beard that holds threads of gold. It matches the burnished trim on his white robes. His beard seems to change from normal gray to an iridescent silver. The Librarian has a scratchy voice, and is believed to be quite old.
Once Upon A Broken Heart[]
The Librarian approaches Evangeline as she is looking for information on the Valors. He shows her a door at the very back of the library, which bears the Valor's insignia, the head of a wolf wearing a crown. He tells Evangeline that the door has not been opened in centuries.
The Ballad of Never After[]
The Librarian appears suddenly behind Evangeline while she is attempting to open the door at the back of the library. He tells her that she must hurry to find the missing stones to unlock the Valory Arch.
When Evangeline refuses to open the Valory Arch, the Librarian tries to persist, but loses his voice. Instead of sound, smoke puffs out of his mouth. He tries to speak again, but only smoke appears. He acts as if this happens regularly. After a couple of seconds, Evangeline watches the Librarian become transparent and fade away.
