The Assassin wears a heavy hood, that conceals his face, and appears to collect shadows. His voice is said to be harsh and discordant, and he has a brash and flat sense of humor.

All of the Fates were released from the Deck of Destiny, including the Assassin.
Finale[]
He offers to help to kill the Fallen Star along with The Maiden Death.
The Assassin takes Scarlett back in time to her mother, where Scarlett steals her mother's dress. Once Scarlett has gotten the dress, the Assassin takes Scarlett back to the Fallen Star, where Scarlett pretends to be Paradise.

The Assassin has the ability to travel through space and time, and can materialize at will.
