Nocte Neverending is a traditional event held in The Magnificent North. The event is hosted so that the Crown Prince can select a bride, which allows him to fully ascend to the throne.

Description[]
Nocte Neverending begins on the first Winter's Day and will not end until the prince has found his bride. Every night during Nocte Neverending, the current crown prince watches from a hidden location until he picks five ladies to dance with. This repeats every night until he finds the perfect bride. The night before the event begins, a private dinner is held to welcome all the foreign ambassadors. Young women from every empire attend. Many believe that Princess Serendipity Skystead of the Icehaven Isles, who has been friends with Prince Apollo since childhood, will be chosen as his bride.
History[]
Nocte Neverending is one of the North's oldest traditions. Secret ballrooms were built for it in the forests where fallen stars had once landed, leaving everything laced with bits of enchantment.[1]
