The Guild of Heroes is a band of warriors. They have taken it upon themselves to keep order in some areas of The Magnificent North after Luc "Lucian" Navarro, the impostor heir, claimed the throne after Apollo Acadian was proclaimed dead. Since the impostor was more concerned with parties and flirtations than with ruling the kingdom, a lot of areas fell into disarray.
Their leader is Garrick of the Greenwood.
Some people do not view them as heroes, but as mercenaries profiting off a series of unfortunate circumstances.

Trivia[]
- A fan asked Stephanie Garber about Luc's whereabouts in A Curse for True Love as he didn't appear at all in the book. Stephanie said that in her mind, he was warned by two maidens that Apollo was back and he escaped with the maidens to an inn that is cursed so you can't be found unless you want to be.
- Another idea she had in mind was that he ran off and joined the Guild of Heroes. She clarified that this isn't canon until she actually writes it down.[1]
