Apollo Titus Acadian was the crown prince of the Magnificent North. He married Evangeline Fox.
Appearance[]
Apollo was tall and attractive, with olive-toned skin. His features were a bit intense, with a slightly crooked aquiline nose, thick dark brows, and deep-set eyes. His hair was heavy, dark, and cropped close to better show off his strong features. He had broad shoulders. His eyes were deep brown and amber with tiny flecks of glowing bronze. Apollo was between nineteen and twenty-one. He had a commanding presence about him that made it clear he was a prince. He spoke with a deep voice.
Personality[]
Apollo was self-absorbed, loving his portrait to be taken. There were many framed artworks of himself hanging on walls all around Wolf Hall. When Evangeline first saw him at Nocte Neverending, he was in the Phoenix Tree, an artist painting him while he lent over the railing.
Apollo was charming and kind while under the love spell, and often demonstrated grand gestures to win Evangeline’s affection. However, at the end of The Ballad of Never After, he was controlling and fearful of Evangeline leaving him.

The Ballad of Never After[]
Evangeline discovers that Apollo is alive. He had been cursed by Jacks. After some time, Jacks appears and tells her that he will lift the curse from Apollo if she uses her powers as a key to open the Valory Arch. Evangeline is torn between wanting to right her wrong with Apollo and not wanting to help Jacks because his motives are unclear and always self-serving.
However, Evangeline discovers that Apollo is under a second curse. A mirror curse between Evangeline and Apollo is discovered when a knife is run along Apollo’s arm, and the cut her receives also appears on Evangeline’s arm. Any harm brought to Apollo will also affect Evangeline, and vice versa.
Evangeline visits Lala to ask for advice on working with Jacks. To her surprise, Lala tells her that she should go along with Jacks. After returning to the palace, she is shocked to learn that Apollo is awake, and it appears he has had another curse placed on him: the curse of The Hunter and the Fox. This curse forces Apollo, as the hunter to try and kill Evangeline, being unable to rest until he does so.
A Curse for True Love[]
TBA
Apollo Acadian sought out the Tree of Souls and was able to find it. Seeking immortality for himself in order to kill Jacks, he wanted to drink from the tree. Wolfric Valor stopped him by warning him of the sacrifice the magic of the tree required. He said he would stay from it but he wasn't able to resist drinking from it after he saw his wife Evangeline and Jacks together.
He drank from the tree even if it meant the life of his wife Evangeline. He became immortal for only a brief moment as the tree almost immediately started to take his life. Ultimately the tree grabbed him. The trunk split open like a mouth and trapped him inside for eternity. The payment the tree required was the life of the person one loved most, and Apollo loved nobody more than himself.
Relationships[]
Evangeline Fox[]
When Apollo held the contest for his bride, he selected Evangeline. Unknown to Apollo, Jacks had willed Apollo to fall for Evangeline. After they wed, Evangeline kissed Apollo and the spell broke, but he immediately fell into a deep sleep.
Tiberius Acadian[]
Tiberius and Apollo used to be close brothers. They had a falling-out and Tiberius disappeared for a few weeks, not appearing at court until Apollo and Evangeline's wedding day. Apollo had been known to react to the mention of Tiberius' name, flinching or frowning.

Trivia[]
- In the Waterstones alternate ending of A Curse for True Love, Evangeline goes to the Tree of Souls and writes a prophecy with the Truth stone that Honora Valor had let her borrow. This prophecy stated that only the spilled blood of Apollo's true love would be able to free him from the tree. Jacks added a timeline and a curse to the prophecy. Evangeline wanted to give Apollo another chance but Jacks wasn't feeling so inclined to be charitable. The alternate endings are not considered canonical per the author's note.
