Agnes Tourmaline is Evangeline Fox's stepmother and the mother of Marisol Tourmaline.

Agnes is cruel and domineering. She doesn't care about Evangeline and has resented her ever since her father died. She's never hugged her, or shown her any kindness. Agnes is not any nicer to her daughter Marisol. She treats her horribly and is described by Evangeline as full of poison. She is only concerned with marrying Marisol to a wealthy family.
Plot[]
Agnes married Maximilian Fox for the same reason he married her, to make sure her daughter was provided for. They were married for six months before he died.

When Evangeline is turned to stone, Agnes closes her father's curiosities shop, despite the fact that it was willed to Evangeline.
