Anyone else feel like the whole "Legend can be identified by his tophat" was a joke that they made up one time before Caraval was very very famous, and it just stuck and now Legend's stuck with the speculation and this is why he has everyone else get stuck with this gag/probably drunken mistake instead? On Ms. Garber's website I learned that Barnes & Noble had a special edition of Finale that included some artwork and a chapter from Legend's point of view. But when I click the link to buy the book, the website says it's a signed copy, not this special edition.
Has anyone here bought that special edition? If so, are you willing to share a bit about what's in the Legend POV chapter? I really want to buy that version, but online searches for it don't produce enough information for me to be certain I'd be getting the correct version.
