i just finished acftl and that last page has me scratching my head… y’all have any thoughts or theories on exactly what the apples are to him?

Scarlett is the stronger sister.

Her father abus3d her physically and mentally for almost all her life.

She gave up her whole life for her sister, to make her happy.

She was broken over and over again.

She has seen all her loved ones d!3, only to realize they were tricking her, and then still found the strength and courage to forgive them.

And after all that, she still manages to be a loved and successful empress.

And that ladies and gentlemen is why I like Scarlett Dragna better.

Ok, I know I've never really been on this wiki, but I just had to share this opinion, because Stephanie made me so mad, because she so obviously favored Tella and Dante over Scarlett and Julian.

Ok, hear me out.

Tella has SOOOOO many more chapters than Scarlett does, and I wanted to scream, because imo, Scarlett and Julian are the better couple, and Scarlett's povs were always so much more interesting to me.

Yes Julian did lie to Scarlett, but sometimes he was forced to, but Scarlett still loved him after all that, and decided to give him another chance, and Julian was desperate to get forgiveness and her back.

And I know that Donatella and Dante are the big, main, dramatic love, but I just prefer Scarlett and Julian SOOOO much more.

I just think they click so much better.

Okay so i have been wondering something and i need your help. I finished the caraval series, i am absolutely consumed by it. I LOVE tella and legend. Now the problem is that i absolutely cannot stand Jacks, i dont know why people like him in caraval but i despise him. I want to continue in the caraval world but that would mean that i can only read Once Upon a Broken Heart. I dont need some sort of Jacks redemption arc etc. Like i said i dont like Jacks and i dont want to like Jacks. My question is: do i still read it?

My absolute dream vacation is to go to Greece and Italy. I want to see the Parthenon, Pompeii, Santorini, all of the above. I was obsessed with Greek mythology in middle school so this is the top of my travel list as a result. I think I have my mom convinced to take me to Greece for my senior trip, but we're kinda poor so I doubt that actually happens. A girl can dream.

I just finished reading The Ballad of Never After 😭😭😭 I won't write spoilers here but beware that wiki pages already have spoilers because I started adding stuff. If anyone needs to talk after that ending I'm here 😭😭😭

Hii everyone, I've just finished reading the Caraval series and it's one of my favourite series now! My favourite character is Jacks HAHAHHA as it's very interesting to see what he'll do and how he can like manipulate things to go his way and he's not as easy going as he seems. I kinda shipped him with Tella and I wonder how the story would have gone if Tella didn't sever the marriage with Jacks. What do ya'll think?

Anyone else feel like the whole "Legend can be identified by his tophat" was a joke that they made up one time before Caraval was very very famous, and it just stuck and now Legend's stuck with the speculation and this is why he has everyone else get stuck with this gag/probably drunken mistake instead? Yes? Yes.

this was an amazing read but so, so many questions are left unanswered. here are just a few of them, in case someone knows the answer:

- what does legend's tattoo mean? what's his real name? what's with his mother and what did he mean when he told tella in legendary that "it would take more than this" to get him to talk about her?

- so why did the assassin hate gavriel? why did jacks dislike him too? why did gavriel put lady prisoner in a cage? is it for the same reason as maiden death (bc she rejected him)?

- what's the actual story about that woman who jumped off a balcony bc of legend ? (mentioned in the first book)

- how was jacks already out of his card? how did paradise find herself inside one? i was so sure that he had somehow tricked her into taking his place or smth lol

there's actually a lot of other details that weren't explained enough and that was all i could think about during the whole book lol

Personally, while reading all the books, I felt like Donatella was the worst character out there. She was rude, and spoiled. She never listened to Scarlett, who had taken care of her for most of her life. Scarlett was right about so many things and was nothing but kind to her, and she dragged her into Caraval, AGAINST her will, lied to her, and was basically the whole reason the Fates got loose. During Finale, Donatella did nothing but whine about how Legend left her, whine about Legend not loving her, wandered around making a mess with Jacks, wandered around and made magical deals for STUPID reasons, and nothing else. Scarlett was over there dealing with shock of finding out that Fallen Star was her birth father, that she had powers, and that Fallen Star wanted to make her a Fate. Instead Donatella went looking for pointless solutions, and half of the time, while doing so, ended up pining over Legend instead. She was just so frickin useless and annoying. That's all I have to say.
